These are permitted under the act and can form collectives in negotiating with the park owner about any changes that are proposed by either the park or by the residents.

In the event of there being a dispute with the site then ultimately the residents association can represent the occupiers at a tribunal hearing. The ruling of a tribunal is binding on both parties. The work of the association is normally far more mundane and involves the day to day liaising with the park for the benefit of the occupiers and park operators alike.
